Thank you for your support of Malaria Journal in 2014. This year has been an eventful year.

In September, we held the Challenges in Malaria Research conference in Oxford, UK, attended by over 300 researchers from around the world. If you were not able to attend, you can find the abstracts from the meeting in the journal.

During the meeting, keynote presenter David Weatherall kindly spoke to the editors of Biome, our online magazine, about his research and how he came to be working on malaria:
