Dear Dr Wirawan,

I am delighted to share with you a selection of articles published in Journal of Venomous Animals and Toxins including Tropical Diseases.

I am also pleased to announce the addition of two new Editorial Board members:

Ji Hong Hua, professor at Shanghai Institute of Physiology, Shanghai University (China), and Executive Director of the Chinese Society for Neuroscience. He is an expert in the fields of neuropharmacology and neurotoxicology and has been investigating scorpions neurotoxins.

Anna Nekaris, professor at Oxford Brookes University (UK) and director of the Little Fireface Project, which aims at the conservation of the slow loris, a unique a group of primates that produce venom. She has been investigating the behavioral and chemical ecology of these animals found in Asia and currently endangered.
